Courmayeur Foundation
The Foundation’s main aim is to promote, develop and coordinate, principally at Courmayeur, research, studies, experiments and the organisation of meetings for further analysis and to publish factual knowledge concerning contemporary social issues of law and economics, with a particular focus on the international context.
The Courmayeur Foundation was established pursuant to Regional Law n.18 of 19th April 1988 and was created following an agreement between the Aosta Valley Region, the Municipality of Courmayeur, CNPDS (National Centre for Prevention and Social Defence) in Milan and Censis (Centre for Social Studies and Policies) in Rome.
The Foundation organizes conferences, courses and, seminars; provide for the establishment and maintenance of archives; provide for the publication of the results of studies, research and its other activities.
The “Laurent Ferretti” Mountain Observatory was founded in 1994 with the aim to develop a multi-disciplinary research project with an transnational focus. The series ”The Mountains, risk and responsibility” publishes the results of research projects and the documents resulting from the conferences it has organized.

La Conferenza si propone di individuare partnerships e modalità di lavoro condiviso affinché la Convenzione entri nella vita quotidiana e diventi una fonte di ispirazione ed un fermo punto di riferimento per un'azione collettiva, continuativa, efficace e positiva contro la corruzione. In questo spirito la Conferenza riunirà rappresentanti di governi, di organizzazioni multilaterali, di mezzi di comunicazione di massa, della società civile, del mondo accademico e del settore privato, offrendo un'occasione di dialogo approfondito sulle modalità del lavorare insieme e per tracciare una rotta comune per il futuro.
